Cookie Policy
This site sets no cookies of its own. It writes two small values into your browser's local storage, and until you say otherwise those two are the full inventory.

The two keys, named
ba_age_ok is written when you press “Yes, I am 18 or over” on the home page. It holds the single word yes. Without it, the age overlay appears on every visit to the home page.
ba_consent is written when you press Accept or Decline on the cookie bar. It holds either granted or denied. Without it, the bar keeps appearing and measurement stays off.
Both are in local storage, not cookies. They are never sent to our server with a request, they have no expiry date of their own, and they stay in that browser on that device until you clear them. If your browser refuses to store them, which is normal in private windows, the site still works and asks you again.
What Consent Mode v2 does
Before any other script runs, every page tells Google's consent framework to deny ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage, and to wait half a second for an update. That default sits in the head of every page, including the legal ones. Pressing Accept sends an update granting all four. Pressing Decline sends an update that keeps all four denied, explicitly.
What would be set if a tag is added
No analytics or advertising tag is loaded on this site at present. If Google Analytics 4 is added later, it would set _ga and a _ga_ property cookie, both lasting about two years, to tell one visit from the next. If Google Ads conversion tracking is added, it would set _gcl_au for about 90 days. Neither would be set, and neither would be read, while ba_consent says denied or is missing.
Changing your mind
Press in the footer of any page. The bar comes back and whatever you choose replaces what was there. You can also clear site data in your browser, which removes both keys and returns the site to asking.
Blocking everything in the browser
Every current browser lets you block cookies and site data for a single site or for all of them, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking site data for this address stops both keys being written. All the pages will still work. The age overlay and the cookie bar will appear every time, which follows from the site not being allowed to remember your answer.
What is not here
This site uses no Facebook pixel or advertising pixel of any other kind, and none of the following: a social sharing widget, embedded video, a map iframe, a font loaded from another company’s server, a chat widget, heat-mapping or session recording, or device fingerprinting. Nothing on any page of this site makes a request to another host while you read it. The only external addresses written anywhere in the code are the canonical tags and the sitemap, which are not loaded by your browser.
